Whispered 'Love You'
Whispered 'Love You'
Whispered 'Love You' in your ears,As you lay by my side,
With all worries, hung at the door,
All misunderstandings, kept aside.
Will you be my love? like you were,
That day when you became my bride.
Will you stand by me? like you swore,
That day when you became my pride.
Holding each other, we simply laid,
As talking was done by our eyes,
Felt each other, truely as we were,
With no deceptions or lies.
Moved closer, with fingers tangled,
Leaving nothing in between,
Only touch became our vision then,
As nothing else could be seen.
Held each other with strong love,
Like we were always meant to be.
Caressed to reveal unspoken words,
Showing, you are the only one for me.
Your shy smile, made me believe,
That pureness was within you.
Kissed your forehead to show,
That faithfulness was in me too.
Whispered 'Love You' in your ears again,
As you lay by my side,
Be my love always, like you truly are,
My beautiful and lovely bride.

When you write from the heart on the subject of love. Words just simply flow, I love the poem. Many times I've called my wife over to read a poem I think she'll enjoy. After reading this one she simply said awwwwww so sweet. And that my friend sums it up. Great poem!
